Training

Since 1997, I have designed and delivered writing workshops and coaching sessions for clients in the health, government, labour, and non-profit sectors.

An important influence in the design of my workshops is dialogue education—an approach to adult training that I studied in 2006. While working as communications coordinator for a national literacy organization in 2005, I learned the principles of adult education. Through dialogue education, I learned the practice.

My focus on good workshop design means I deliver effective training for the professionals who attend my workshops. Coaching sessions with me can also provide you with one-on-one training that really works.  A final word on curriculum design…working with FocusFit, I have created both web-based and printed curricula for training in Canada’s tourism sector.
